Why should I have a professional home inspection?
Working with a local inspector is a wise choice for anyone who is about to purchase a home. With Mike, you’ll have peace of mind that the critical issues associated with a home have been uncovered and addressed – or explained – prior to purchase. A thorough, objective inspection will give you the information you need to make a smart investment decision.
How long does an inspection take?
Depending on the size, age and condition of the home, and any additional services provided, the process usually takes two to three hours.
Do I need to be present during the inspection?
While not required, it's strongly recommended. Mike's goal is not only to inspect the property thoroughly but prefers to educate the homeowner or potential buyer about the condition of the property.
What's included in the report?
The report is your written recap of the inspection that details the condition of the home’s major components (heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc), and any specific evidence pertaining to issues discovered - detailed photos are always included.
Why should I choose Mike over a local competitor?
As a local resident with decades living and working in the Oak Island area, Mike knows what to look for and is no stranger to the common (and not so common) issues that occur when living in eastern North Carolina. No matter where you live, finding a local inspector that loves and serves your town is crucial to receiving the right inspection details on your home.
